I've known Doug for many years from Racing our Doxies in Ohio at the NDR and Frankenmuth Dog Bowl. Dee-O-Gee is racing Buddies with my Doxie Finnigan, They are the same age and we're always competing in the same Heats. Doug was a very friendly individual that was very caring to others. He will surely be missed but always have a place in my heart. I will never forget Doug kneeling down next to me at the end of the finish line screaming at the top of his lungs "Come on Dee-O-Gee squeaking a big long snake dog toy" and Dee-O-Gee would ALWAYS come in 1st place and Finnigan 2nd they were fun competitors. We loved congratulating each on the on our MICHIGAN wins!!!! I could keep going with stories with fond memories of Doug. My heart aches for you guys and will be praying you find comfort in knowing what a great guy he was and how he touched so many lives by just being "Him"! Sending thoughts and prayers xoxo

Dear Family:     I wanted to convey my sincere regret for your recent loss.  In the difficult days ahead I hope you will find comfort in happy memories. Revelation 21:4 says that soon 'death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be any more'.  We have the promise of seeing our loved ones again in a world with no more suffering.   You are in my thoughts and prayers.  For more comforting information go to www.jw.org Jrmth

I am so sorry to hear that Douglas passed away. I spoke to him on Facebook several times lately. I wish I could have been at the memorial, but I just found out tonight when I read Jackie's message. My condolences to the family and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
