Grace Stanton

Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Stanton, age 82, passed away January 3rd, 2018 at home surrounded by family in Grand Blanc, MI. Grace was a loving, compassionate, and strong person. She was very devoted to her Catholic faith in God. Grace and husband Chuck were married 52 years. She worked and retired from Fenton-Hill Drugs then went on to work for the Carmen-Ainsworth Schools. Grace was a devoted volunteer at Holy Redeemer Church for several years. Surviving are her children, Kevin(Sharon) Stanton of Clio, MI, Cheri(Rick) Stanton of Marble Falls, TX, Marla(DeLos) Blain of Lake, MI, Kristi(Scott) Potter of Swartz Creek, MI, and Stacey(Glenn) Lamb of Holly, MI; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Marilla(Bob) Rutherford, Ellen(Richard) Bouchard, Ruby DeGuise, Anne Chard, and Fran DeGuise; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Chuck; parents, Joseph and Elsie Deguise; siblings, Patrick DeGuise, Lois Hunt, and Leo Deguise; and brother in law Norm Chard. A Memorial Mass will be held 11am, Monday, January 8th, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Friends may gather from 10am until the time of her Mass. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Judes Cancer Research.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a blessing to my mom after my dad passed away. I'm thankful for her and for their friendship. I can't think of anyone more appropriately named than your mom.
