Lorraine Probst

Mrs. Lorraine B. Probst age 82, passed away surrounded by her family on December 9, 2017. She is the beloved wife of Robert for over 61 years. Dear mother of Teri (Tom) Gordon and Linda (Charles) Perry. Loving grandma of Crystal (Ryan) Bruza, Shannon (Matthew) Luft, Elizabeth Cheyne, Kyle Gordon, Jessica Gordon and Chris (Shannon) Gordon, CJ (Meghan)Perry and Alex Perry. Great grandma of Alexis, Ella, Charlotte, Jackson, Landon, Dustin, Davin, Elliana and Evan. Lorraine was a vibrant and loving woman, always ready for fun and adventure. She loved to travel, especially with her family; taking cruises, visiting Atlantic City and even touring Europe. Lorraine and Bob wintered in St. Petersburg Florida for 26 years and enjoyed just as many summers on Hubbard Lake. She was an award winning artist and had a natural talent for crafting. Painting many oil paintings, making stained glass and beaded jewelry. But her biggest interest was Flowers. Lorraine has a passion for Horticulture and Floriculture, eventually leading her to a teaching position with Warren Consolidated Schools as the Horticulture Teacher, where she taught for over a decade. Lorraine was a member of the RED Hat Society, St. Catherine’s Catholic Church and was Vice President of the Warren Society of Arts for many years. Lorraine’s zest for life and love for her family will always be remembered and truly missed. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday 11am at D.S. Temrowski Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Rd., Warren. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8pm and on Wednesday10 am until the time of service. Donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.

Bob and the Probst Family It is with great sorrow we express our condolences with the passing of your lovely wife Lorraine, we vividly remember the wonderful family times together when we all lived the Detroit area. My mother Theresa (Nemes) May loved the times when you and Lorraine visited her when she was alive and living in Florida. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through these most difficult times, may Lorraine rest in peace with the Lord and God bless the entire Probst family. Lorraine was a dear cousin to my late husband. I remember her beautiful art. I am very sorry for her loss and may she enjoy the peace and happiness she shared on the earth.
