Glenn loved hunting, fishing, mechanics, and the great outdoors. He was an accomplished dirt and ice track motorcycle racer. He worked with an incredible work ethic as a transport driver for over 40 years with the Teamsters. He served our country honorably in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division light infantry parachute insertion fighting force, subordinate unit to the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment. Glenn was always there to help friends and family with various projects or whatever else they needed him for. He is a 41 year, long term resident of Atlas, Michigan. Glenn is survived by his spouse Karen and their two children Hailee and Hunter Walters; daughters from first marriage (Loretta Maxwell) Gwen Metiva and Anngelique Bowen; brothers Dan Walters and David Walters, sisters Linda Marlowe and Nancy Fluty; and grandchildren Emilee Metiva, Morganday Bowen, Tiernan Bowen, and Finley Kate Anderson, along with many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his loving mother Evelyn Grace Walter and his father Wendall (Walt) C. Walter. A special thank you to Dr. Towfiq and Dr. Adams for their loving care and support.

My Condolences to the family of my friend Glen Walters. Glen was a laid back, not in a hurry, peaceful person who would always say "forget em" when someone was doing something stupid! And believe me I'm saying it nicely. He will truly be missed! I'll see you again someday my friend!

~Greg Maxwell
